David Hadley



     David L. Hadley, age 64 of Richland Center and formerly of Viola, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Pine Valley Healthcare Center in Richland Center.

 Sample ImageHe was born on February 19, 1953 in Viroqua the son of Lawrence and Mary Phyllis (Appleman) Hadley.  David graduated from Cook School in Viroqua.  He enjoyed old westerns and loved watching the Green Bay Packers. He also loved listening to music, especially Hank Williams, Jr., Mel Tillis and Kenny Rogers.  David was a monopoly player and euchre card player.  He could often be seen walking around Viola and enjoying coffee at the Quik Stop.

     He is survived by his siblings: Diana (Gene) Paulus, Dorothy (Steve) Sutton, Donna (DuWayne) Hummel , Dan (Chris) Hadley, Denise (Bob) Moore and Lynn (Rick) Gillitzer; many nieces and nephews; two aunts: Margaret Olson and Margie Nemec; one uncle: Kenneth Appleman; other relatives and many friends.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister in infancy, Lori Jo, and one brother, Larry Hadley.

     Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the LaFarge Free Methodist Church. Pastor Mark Phillips will officiate with burial in the Bear Creek Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.

     In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be made to Pine Valley Healthcare Center where David received excellent care.
