Arlene Johnson (Offerdahl) nee Christianson, 95, of Viroqua, died Saturday, October 21, 2017. Arlene Johnson (Offerdahl) nee Christianson, 95, of Viroqua, died Saturday, October 21, 2017. Arlene was born on March 7, 1922 to Gilbert and Alfhild (Andersen) Christianson in the Timber Coulee area, where she was raised. She attended school in Timber Coulee and went to church in Westby. On January 22, 1942 Arlene married Otis Offerdahl. After Otiss death in 1992 she would later marry Eldon Johnson. Arlene is survived by four daughters: Judy (Dave) Markee, Janice Jeffords, Joan (Mark) Timmerman, and Jackie Olsen; grandchildren: Terry Markee (Dayna), Kim Fry, Amy (John) Bahr, Adam (Tricia) Jeffords, Aaron (Laura) Timmerman, Ashley (Matthew) Pomante TImmerman, Joshua (Tracy) Olsen, and Amanda Olsen; great grandchildren: Breanna (Vinton) Andersen, Alisha Markee (Craig), Jacob Fry, Collin Eggen, Madysen Fry, Matthew and Samantha Bahr, Sophie Pomante, Andrew and Peyton Olsen, and Klayton, Kalen, and Kiki Olsen; great great grandchildren: Vinton III, Cayden, Jason, Lily, Rowen, and Adyen; step children: Sharon Mikkelson, Jim Johnson, and Laura Johnson; sister, Eunice Mathison; sister-in-law, Mallie Gald; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: husbands: Otis Offerdahl, and Eldon Johnson; two sisters: Muriel Bushek, and Gladys Grindle; son-in-law, Ken Jeffords; step daughter, Shirley Stewart; and by other relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Kickapoo United Lutheran Church. Pastor Chuck Miller will officiate with burial to follow in the Kickapoo Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10am till the time of service at 11. In lieu of plants or flowers, memorials may be given to the Kickapoo United Lutheran Church.
