Michael John Mcgregor

Michael John McGregor, 73, of Viroqua, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Mike was born June 3, 1947, in Iowa to the late John and Margaret McGregor. Mike’s family moved from Iowa to Viroqua when Mike was a freshman in high school. Mike married Sandra Morrison on February 24, 1968. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a Viet Nam Vet. The majority of Mike’s career was as a carpenter, the last 32 years with Call Construction. Mike is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Heidi (Tim) Sharp; sons: Todd McGregor and Troy (Larissa) McGregor; grandchildren: JT, Angela, Jacob, Ethan, Sydney, Makenzie, Madison, Slade, Tempe; and four great- grandchildren; sisters: Carol (Mark) Brye, Diny (Tim) Snow, Nancy (Henry) Buss; six sisters-in-law and their husbands, (his hunting buddies); many nieces, nephews and cousins that were very special to him. Preceding Mike in death were his parents, John and Margaret McGregor; his in-laws, Burns and Ruth Morrison; a sister, Julie; daughter-in-law, Kathy and brother-in-law, Tim Moran. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker Street in Viroqua. Vicar Michele Engh will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua is serving Mike's family. 123 W.
