Victor Peterson

Victor Peterson, 87, of Viroqua, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Victor was born on November 16, 1929 to John and Nora (Tollefson) Peterson. He was raised in Viroqua and graduated from Viroqua High School in 1949. He married Janice Manske on June 7, 1951. Victor had numerous jobs but his favorites were at Walmart as a clerk in sporting goods, and as a car salesman who also did body work on cars. Victor enjoyed talking with people at his jobs. He is survived by; three children: Debbie (John) Hanson of Viroqua, Craig (Renee) Peterson of Wellsville, KS, and Todd Peterson of Viroqua; three grandchildren: Stephanie (Rob) Myers of Goshen, IN, Heather Peterson of Madison, and Julie (Travis) Geier of Westby; five great-grandchildren: Logan, Alexis, and Brayden Myers, and Makenna and Wyatt Geier. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Janice; his parents; and other family and friends. Blessed be our memory of Victor James Peterson. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua (123 W Decker, Hwy 56). Pastor Yvonne Marshall will officiate with burial to follow in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4-6 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Friends may also call on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11.
