Vivian L. Sordahl, age 72 of Westby, died Monday, October 19, 2015. Vivian L. Sordahl, age 72 of Westby, died Monday, October 19, 2015. She was born on December 31, 1942 to Howard and Violet (Petterson) Kolbo. She was married to Palmer Sordahl and they later divorced. She loved riding horses, reading and doing word searches. Vivian was proud of her family and loved spending time with them. She is survived by her four children: Cathy (Randy) Brueggeman of Cashton, Melinda Sordahl and her special friend, Maurice Lee of Tomah, Palmer Sordahl of Westby and John (Pam) Sordahl of LaCrosse; 10 grandchildren: Amber (Lincoln) Collins, Brittany Bruggeman and her special friend, Zack Bolstad, Bradley Brueggeman, Cynthia Sordahl and her special friend, Cody Wohlhoefer, Quinton Sordahl, Scott (Ashley) Sordahl, Samantha Sordahl and her special friend, Carter Vosseteig, April Sordahl, Sarah (Travis) Seidel, and Allan Hohlfeld; great-grandchildren: Bentley Sordahl, Gabriel Collins and Jesse, Justin, Owen and Chase Seidel; five siblings: Betty (Alvin) Sordahl, Rodger Kolbo, Linda Compton and special friend, Martin Short, John Kolbo and Alice Kolbo; many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey, one sister, Beverly Kolbo and one nephew, Phillip Compton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Pastor Gary Daines will officiate with burial in the Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred. Online condolences may be offered at www.VossFH.com.
