Ada B. Lee, age 96 of Westby, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. Ada B. Lee, age 96 of Westby, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born on March 21, 1913 in Westby, Wis. to Isaac and Mabel (Martinson) Stoleson. On April 17, 1937 she married Orville Lee in Waukon, Iowa. They farmed in the Newry area until their retirement in 1981 when they moved to Westby. Ada was a member of the Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. She is survived by five children: Doris Halverson of Viroqua, LeRoy (Judy) Lee of River Falls, Russell (Margaret) Lee of Coon Valley, Maxine (Orland) Olson of Hudson, and Ivan Lee of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Margaret Reynolds and Lulu McLain; one brother, Harlan (Betty) Stoleson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville; one brother, Thomas in infancy; two sisters: Doris Hamilton and Esther Davig; three brothers-in-law: Andrew Reynolds, J.D. McLain, Orland Davig; one nephew, Harlan "Bingo" McLain. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2009 at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Pastor Dennis Hallemeier will officiate with burial in the Coon Prairie Cemetery.
