Agnes Lieurance, 93, of Viroqua, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. Agnes Elaine Lieurance, 93, of Viroqua, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Vernon Manor. She was born June 5, 1925 in Viroqua to the late Edward and Alice (Erickson) Halverson. Agnes and her husband Hugh farmed near Viola for many years. She was an excellent cook and homemaker. Agnes is survived by her children: Jim (Rita) Lieurance, Judy Nicks, Jennifer (Carl) Wallace, Jo Ann (Dan) Tamling and Julie (Ed) Smithey; Grandchildren: Patrick, Michael, Jerry, Elonda, Joshua, Phillip, Matthew, Tyler, Ross and Lauren; many great-grandchildren; her niece Linda (Rick) Mickelson and nephew Dennis Halverson. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Hugh and her siblings. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4 from 3 to 3:45p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. A private funeral service for family will follow the visitation. Agnes will be laid to rest at the Viroqua Cemetery. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Vernon Manor for the care they provided their mother.
