Alan Charles Mccullick

MOUNT STERLING Alan McCullick, 73, of Mount Sterling died Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. He graduated from Seneca High School in 1961 and after serving with the US Army in Viet Nam he started a career with 3M which spanned more than 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Michael and Jeff (Sondra); three grandsons, Dylan, Talen, and Tristan; siblings, Anna Marie (Richard) Crogan, Wayne (Nancy), John (Linda), Don (Dixie), Mary (Ken) Applegate; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Marion, and his sister Arlene (Dennis) Jordan. He is dearly missed by his family and friends. A "Celebration of Alans Life" will be held on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills at 325 Sunset Ridge Ave. & Hwy 131. This is the anniversary of his birthday as Alan would have been 74 years old. Friends are welcome come share this time with Alans family and loved ones from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Military Honors will close the evenings event at 5:00 P.M. with local and active duty personnel presiding over the ceremony. In lieu of flowers or plants memorials are preferred.
