Alice Phillips

Alice Phillips, age 82, of Viola, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Vernon Manor in Viroqua. In her younger years, she worked as a CNA in Twin Lakes, WI. She worked for 8 years at VARC in Viroqua. She also worked in tobacco and did farm work.

Alice is survived by her sister, Stella Vogal of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews; her adopted family, Joe and Ida Hughes; and the Clark family with all the kids.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, William Phillips in 1992; her parents, Lula Mae and Earl Emery; her three sisters, Jeraldine, Lucy, and Jeanette; and four brothers, Garrett, Eddie, Darold, and David; and her longtime companion of 28 years, Clyde Clark.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
