Amanda M. Clark, age 23, of Readstown, died Friday, February 10, 2006 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on February 4, 2006. Amanda was born on November 29, 1982 in Viroqua, Wisconsin. She graduated from Kickapoo High School in 2001, where she participated in basketball, and was known to her family and friends as 'Mouse'. She was very close to her mother and looked up to her big brother T.J. Amanda very much enjoyed being a mom and taking care of her two girls. She appreciated having a dad that would work on her car ALL the time, and a mom and grandma that spent much time with her and her girls. Amanda will be remembered by her big smile and big blue eyes. Amanda is survived by her parents, Jim (Moira) Clark of Westby, and Sandi Thayer of Readstown; two daughters, Kaylee and Jasmine Fawcett, and their father, Tom Fawcett of Readstown; maternal grandparents, Kenny and Betty Anderson of Readstown; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Rita Clark of Viroqua; seven siblings, Dawn Clark of Viroqua, Tami (Steve) Froegel of LaCrosse, T.J. Clark of Viola, Ashley Alderman of Readstown, Josh Clark of Viola, Andrea Clark of Viola, and Michael Clark of Westby.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal aunt, Lori Blakely; cousin, Kenny Green; and special friend, Jared Fortney. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Viroqua. Father Robert Cook will celebrate the Mass with burial in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Scripture Wake Service at 7:15 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Friends may also call prior to leaving for the church on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
