Arnold "Arnie" Martin

October 15, 1937 — April 26, 2024

Arnold "Arnie" L. Martin, age 86, of Rochester and formerly of Boscobel, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born on October 15, 1937, to the late Atley and Myrtle Adeline (Hayes) Martin in Bell Center and graduated from Boscobel High School. Arnie served in the National Guard and started out his work career at Badger Welding Supplies in Beloit, WI where he met and married his first wife, Anita. He then moved back home to work for his family’s business, Boscobel Refrigeration and Electric as an electrician before making a career change again to become a truck driver and seeing the sites of the country.


Arnie was always a hard worker but when he had a little down time he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and reminiscing about old times with friends and family.


Arnie is survived by his children: Cindy (Chuck) Johnson, Randy Martin, Penny Martin, and Jody (Michael) Dunning; stepson, Jeff (Denise) LaFontane; grandchildren: Jamee, Jermee, Ericka, Jenee, Danelle, James, Sarah Jane, Adam, and Chelsea; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Karen Martin and Edith Klema; and many nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anita Martin; his wife, Georgia Martin; stepdaughter, Shelley Mori; and brothers: Carol, Roland, Marvin, and Dale.


Services for Arnie will be held at a later date.


Vosseteig Funeral Home & Crematory in Gays Mills is serving Arnold's family.
