Audrey Hendricks

Audrey Hendricks (Gutierrez), 64, of Friendship, WI, passed away on November 26th, 2022, after a long and hard-fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Audrey was born on July 15th, 1958, to Raul and Louise Gutierrez in El Paso, Texas. Audrey graduated from Cosmetology School to become a hair stylist.

Audrey met Dale Hendricks while in California and the couple later married and settled in Wisconsin. Audrey and Dale had two children, Nicholas and Amanda, and although they later divorced, they continued to live close by to raise their children together.

As Audrey’s disease progressed, she lived with her daughter, Amanda, who cared for her until her MS was no longer manageable at home. Audrey loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and the void left by her passing is impossible to fill.

Audrey was preceded in death by her father, Raul Gutierrez and brother, Brett Gutierrez. Audrey is survived by her mother, Louise Gutierrez of Los Angeles, CA; her son, Nicholas Hendricks (Stefanie Strangstalien) of Holmen, WI; daughter, Amanda Fountaine of Tonganoxie, Kansas; and six grandchildren: Daewyn Hendricks of Wichita, KS, Kyah and Quintyn Hendricks of Holmen, WI, Kalia, Josiah and Aubrei Fountaine of Tonganoxie, KS.

The family is planning a private family service on Sunday, December 18th, 2022 and a spring burial will take place at a later date.
