Audrey O. Nelson

Audrey O. Nelson, fourth child of Marie and Rasmus Bruland, made her final journey after battling cancer.

She was very involved in her church activities – belonged to two quilting groups and ladies aide. She was a big quilter and knitter. Audrey was fortunate to make a couple of trips to Norway to see family.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis; brother, Arnold; and sisters, Borgny and Ruth.

She is survived by her children: Becky (Michael) McFadden of Poynette, Dennis (Sandi) of Monroe, Kevin (Penny) of Iron River, and Lisa (Jerry) Nelson of Muscoda and her sister, Marline Peterson. Audrey had 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Pastor Alyssa Weaver will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Audrey will be laid to rest at Westby Coon Prairie Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby.
