Audrey Stenslien

Audrey Stenslien, 82, of Westby, died on Monday, February 13, 2017. Audrey was born on February 4, 1935 to Gerald and Edna (Thompson) Rusdal. She graduated from Westby High School and worked with her father at the Vernon Telephone Cooperative. Audrey married David Stenslien on October 15, 1955 in the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. She then went to work as the secretary for the Westby Elementary School. She was a member of the Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Audrey enjoyed visiting friends who werent able to get out and often visited Norseland Nursing Home. Audrey was a knitter and loved to bake Christmas goodies. Audrey is survived by her son, Mark Stenslien of Wilton, WI; grandson: Andy (Allison Claussen) Stenslien of Grafton, WI; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; and other family members. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Pastor John Dumke will officiate with burial to follow in the Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12pm till the time of service at 1.
