Barbara Ann Sanchez

Barbara Ann Sanchez, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 12, 2021. Barbara was born to Sarah and Harold Hulbert in Elkhorn, WI. Barbara enjoyed spending time on her parents farm in Ferryville, WI in her younger years. As an adult, she lived in the surrounding areas of Burlington, where she raised her children and then eventually moved to Oak Creek, WI. She was a good mom and hard worker who loved animals, especially her cats. She also enjoyed fishing, dancing, movies and spending time with family. Her faith was very important to her. She attended church regularly and enjoyed reading her bible daily. She loved singing to her favorite Country Music & listening to Classic Gospel. She enjoyed traveling and carnival rides. Her favorite ride was the tilt-o-whirl and the Sizzler. Barbara had a big heart and was known for her kindness to others. She will be missed greatly by her family, and so many others that were touched by her sweet spirit. Barbara preceded her husband in death, Issac Sanchez, her sister, Betty Kuhnke, and her brother, Alton Hulbert. She is survived by her sister, Jean Kuhnke, her children; Barbara Rios, Robert Sabin Jr., Cindy Perez, Jeffrey Sabin, Laurie Czarapata, Robert Sabin Sr. (1st husband), step-children Mike Sanchez, Juanita Martinez, Howard Sanchez, Issac Sanchez Jr. and grand-children; Tyler Sabin, Brett Sabin, Jeremy Sabin, Adriana Rios, Natalya Rios, Lucas Rios, Mark Burdo, Chelsey Matthews, Brooke Stepien, Brittany Shaw, and David Wolfe along with 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Walnut Mound Cemetery in Retreat.
