Bea Chambers

Bea ChambersApril 8, 2005 Bea Chambers, age 81 of Westby went to her heavenly father on April 8, 2005 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Viroqua on Jan. 31, 1924 to Lewis and Aleda Tollefson, She was united in marriage to Clayton Chambers and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1996. Bea has lived in the Westby area all of her life. Bea and Clayt farmed in Newry for several years. Bea also babysat for many of the Westby children and enjoyed every minute of caring for them and treated them like her own. She was a member of Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church and the WELCA. She is survived by her son Clayton Chambers (Patti) of Scottsdale, AZ; 7 grandchildren: Kim (Jim) Bills of Arena, Todd (Mara) Chambers of Milwaukee, Scott (Jamie) Chambers of Portage, Amy Van Cleve, Kim (Chad) Jacobson, Lisa (Ryan) Justice and Becca Oleston; 8 great-grandchildren: Aleda Chambers and Courtney Chambers, Emma and Eathan Justice, Kelsey Williams, Zachary Martin, Cole Duncan and Kaylynn Jacobson. She is also survived by her siblings: Fae Zitzner of Viroqua, Pat (Phillip) Wistenberg of Green Bay, Laverne (Charmaine) Tollefson of Las Vegas, Wayne Tollefson of Westby, Graydon 'Gus' (Shirley) Tollefson of Viroqua; her brother-in-law, Clifford (Alice) Chambers of Viroqua and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Clayt, she was preceded in death by her mother and father Lewis and Aleda Tollefson, and siblings: Lloyd (Bub) Zitner, Fred (Thelma) Nechkash, and Deloris 'Lori' (Harley) Slater of Racine. Bea will be sadly missed by her family, relatives, friends, and all the people her life has touched throughout the years.
