Becki L. Dittmar

June 7, 1953 — September 23, 2024

Becki Dittmar, a spirited, generous, and loving presence in the lives of all who knew her, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Readstown, Wisconsin. Born on June 7, 1953, in Marion, Iowa, she was born to Robert and Patty (Rowell) Hotz. Becki married the love of her life, Marvin Dittmar, in 1980.

After graduating from Kennedy High School, Becki embraced her role as a dedicated childcare provider and homemaker, bringing joy and comfort to the families she served and her own home. She possessed a natural ability to nurture which could be seen when Becki would open her home to anyone who needed a place.

She was happiest when surrounded by her cherished grandchildren, with whom she shared countless hours playing games, embarking on fishing adventures, and enjoying the tranquility of camping trips. Her love for the outdoors was matched only by her passion for cooking. An avid game show enthusiast, Becki could often be found watching them for hours and solving puzzles from her living room. Her love for movies and music provided a soundtrack for the many special moments she shared with friends and family. Becki's sense of humor and capacity for love left a lasting imprint on everyone she met.

Becki shared many years with her husband, which was filled with many love filled years of laughter, travel, and jokes, such as “telegram, telegraph, telephone, tele-Becki”.

Becki is survived by her children: Marty (Tiffany) Ohlhauser, Tina Dittmar, and Rodney (Brooke) Dittmar; her beloved dog who was like a daughter, Missy; grandchildren: Max, Lisa, Tiffany, Jenny, Laura, Noah, Kaylynnya (Ronnie), Carly, Dakota, Aden, Teigan, Erika, Bella, David, Abel, and Abigail; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Lola “June” Kukuk, Deborah (Antonio Sr.) Vega, Peggy (Joe Trevino) Hotz, Wendy McNabb, and Jennifer Hotz; step-sisters: Tammi Griffith and Treasa (John) Youngman; sister-in-law, Beverly Dittmar-Stripling; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin; infant daughter and infant son; seven grandchildren; her dog, Sissy; and her siblings, Robert Hotz, Jr. and Tara Badji.
