Benny M. Miller, age 83 of LaFarge, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Benny M. Miller, age 83 of LaFarge, died early Tuesday morning, October 11, 2011. He was born on March 22, 1928 in Richland County, Wisconsin to Emery and Myrtle (Dingman) Miller. On June 8, 1952 he was united in marriage to Marylee Harris in Englewood, Colorado. They farmed together in Richland Co. for 12 years prior to moving to the Webster township where they farmed for 15 years prior to retiring. In addition to his wife, Marylee, he is survived by five children: Mike (Julie), Dennis (Ann), Peggy (Gary) Mossholder, Sonia (Richard) Williams and Cynthia Heding; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harold (Shirley), Ralph (Linda) and Carl (Shirley). He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dianne Betts and one sister, Betty Deckert. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church on Salem Ridge, LaFarge. Pastor George Shick will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be made to the LaFarge Rescue Squad or the charity of the donor's choice. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
