Betty Grace Grundmann, age 85 of Viroqua, died March 24, 2012. Betty Grace Grundmann, age 85 of Viroqua, died March 24, 2012 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1926 in Wyoming, Iowa to George and Maggie Luke. On February 22, 1947 she was united in marriage to George Grundmann in Delavan, Wisconsin and together they spent their married life in the Elkhorn, Wisconsin area. After retirement, they spent their winters in Arizona. After Georges death, Betty moved to Viroqua, Wisconsin to be closer to her daughter, Joanne. Betty is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Jim) Hohlfelder along with her grandchildren and their families: Jason, Dana, Kenna & Caitlyn Hohlfelder of Viroqua; Jamie, Jared and Ava Thiede of Jefferson, WI; and Jeni, Nick, Cole and Aubrey Gronemus of Eau Claire, WI. Betty is further survived by children: Peggy Boucher of Viroqua, WI; Marlene Schoenbeck of Elkhorn, WI; Dale Grundmann of Elkhorn, WI; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings; and her husband, George on October 25, 1998. "Per Bettys wishes No Services will be held." Memorials may be given to charity of donors choice. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
