Beverly Kolbo, age 61 of Westby, died Sunday, January 18, 2015. Beverly Kolbo, age 61 of Westby, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at home. She was born on June 9, 1953 to Howard and Violet (Petterson) Kolbo. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby where she had been the custodian for many years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, horseback riding, and family get-togethers. She loved her grandchildren and was one to often help others. She is survived by her children: Teresa Stokke, Amanda Kolbo (Brian Montgomery) and Kris (Michelle) Kolbo, all of Westby; nine grandchildren: Jessica, Mylissa, Katelyn, Nicholas, Madison, Rachael, Zachary, Conner and Violet; special nephew, Joshua Kolbo; six siblings: Vivian Sordahl, Betty (Alvin) Sordahl, Rodger Kolbo, Linda Compton, John Kolbo and Alice Kolbo; many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Harvey and one nephew, Phillip Compton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. Pastor Gary Daines will officiate with burial in the Our Saviors Cemetery.
