Bonnie Volden

Bonnie Volden, age 63 of Viroqua, died Sunday, March 13, 2016. Bonnie R. Volden, age 63 of Westby, died Sunday, March 13, 2016. She was born on February 10, 1953 to Marvin and Beatrice (Ostrem) Peterson. She graduated from Westby High School. She married Michael Volden and they later divorced but remained friends. She retired from Vernon Manor Nursing Home. She loved watching her grandchildren and had even moved to Tennessee to help take care of them. She is survived by her two sons, Timothy Volden of Madison and Travis (Nikki) Ezelle of Westby; two grandchildren: Gunner and Chasity; one step-grandchild: Hunter; brother Marlin Peterson of Westby; nieces and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Burial will be at the Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery, Esofea. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
