Brian Lee Gianoli, age 40, of Newton Valley, WI died March 4, 2007 Brian Lee Gianoli, age 40, of Newton Valley, WI died March 4, 2007 in LaCrosse. He was born in LaCrosse on May 24, 1966 to Mark and Ellen (Allen) Dahl. They were later divorced and Ellen married Philip Gianoli who adopted Brian on May 24, 1974. Brian was employed as a cook at Schmidtys Restaurant in LaCrosse but his real passion was wood-working. He created many beautiful pieces for family and friends. He was a caring and kind individual who spent many hours caring for his grandparents Clair and Gertrude Allen; and he treasured that opportunity. Brian was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Viroqua and his involvement with the church family provided him with many blessings. Brian is survived by his mother, Ellen Gianoli of Genoa; maternal grandparents, Clair and Gertrude Allen of Genoa; brothers, Andrew Dahl of Viroqua; Nick (Jessica) Gianoli of Mountain Home, Idaho; and a sister, Sarah (Tim) Nyhus of Evansville. He is further survived by his nieces, Danielle and Jocelyn; and nephews, Kyle, Colin, Quinn, and Ryan. Brian was preceded in death by his fathers: Mark Dahl and Philip Gianoli. Brians family would like to thank the members of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Pastor Tellier for their unceasing support. Also, special thank you to Kevin and Marilyn Bitz and family. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Viroqua. Pastor Roy Tellier will officiate with burial in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 West Decker (Hwy 56) in Viroqua on Tuesday from 4 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. The family requests memorials to Bethlehem Baptist Church. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
