Brian Wayne Stuber, age 30 of LaCrosse and formerly of Viroqua, died on Monday, April 9, 2007. Brian Wayne Stuber, age 30 of LaCrosse and formerly of Viroqua, died on Monday, April 9, 2007. He was born on December 12, 1976 in Eau Claire, WI to Wayne and Patricia (Lunde) Stuber. He graduated from Viroqua High School in 1995 where he excelled in football. Brian served in the United States Air Force. He loved the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his wife and family and being with his son, Gabe. Brian enjoyed people and liked to make them laugh. He worked at S&S Cycle in LaCrosse and also worked part-time at Root River Valley Transfer in LaCrosse. On September 2, 2006 Brian was united in marriage to Lori Brown and they attended the Faith United Methodist Church on Salem Ridge, rural LaFarge where Brian participated in the Worship Team. In addition to his wife, Lori, Brian is survived by his son, Gabriel Brian; his parents: Wayne and Pat Stuber of Viroqua; two brothers: Scott (Megan) Stuber and Brad Stuber; grandparents: Charles and Vivian Stuber and Norman and Rosemary Lunde; his mother and father-in-law: Bryce and Barb Brown of Westby; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Dale. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church, rural LaFarge. Pastor George Shick will officiate with burial in the Salem Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby.
