Carol I. Chroninger

Carol I. Chroninger, age 78, of Plum City, WI and formerly of Readstown, WI, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020, at the Plum City Care Center. She was born June 12, 1942, in Durand, WI to the late Warren and Gladys (Schofield) Bignell. Carol loved quilting and had several being worked on at the same time. She also loved dogs and one at her side until she went into the nursing home. She loved horses, going on buggy rides including many parades, and spending time with many Amish friends. When Carol went into the nursing home, she enjoyed playing Bingo and especially the Thursday afternoons when Mr. Richardson would bring many puppies for the residents to hold. Most of all, she loved her family time with picnics, visits and phone calls. Survivors include her children: Randy; David (Carolyn) Anderson and LuAnn Snider; her grandchildren: Danielle (Devin) Teigen, Sheri (Jerry) Schutts, Andrew Anderson, Nicole (Robert) Bendickson and Chelsea Anderson; her great-grandchildren: Mason Anderson and Berkley Teigen; her siblings: Dick Bignell, Judy (Dennis) Kern, Darlene Berger and Gladys (Lonnie) Cataract; her sisters-in-law: Kathy Stafford, Kathy Bignell and Vera McMahon; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Marvin G. Anderson; her second husband Duane Chroninger; two sons: Eugene and Ricky Anderson; three brothers: Raymond, Larry and Jack Bignell and a brother-in-law Arnie Berger. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the Manning Cemetery in rural Readstown, WI. Online condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
