La Crosse / Onalaska / Westby Carol T Mills, age 79, formerly of Westby died Saturday January 21, 2017. Carol T.R. Mills, age 79 of Onalaska, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 21, 2017. She was born on February 4, 1937 to Julian and Delores (Stakston) Holen, Sr. Carol had been a member of Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church and when she moved to LaCrosse in the late 1980s. She then became a member of Apostolic Life Church in Onalaska where she has been a faithful member. She is survived by three children: Jon (Son) Mills of Janesville, Joy (Robert) Crosby of Kaukauna and Matthew (Denise) Mills of Onalaska; nine grandchildren: Thomas, Brian, Jessica, Jessica, Xenah, Xalene, Xeta, Xane, Gage; three great-grandchildren who were the loves of her life: Bryson, Aiden and Adrianna; four sisters: Inez (Elmer) Blank, Darlene (Lyle) Christopherson, Joan Malphy and Irene (Glenn) Wood; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother in infancy and her brother, Julian Duane Holen, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Apostolic Life Church (N5898 State Road 35, Onalaska, WI 54650) in Onalaska. Pastor Mark Boyd will officiate. Burial will be held at the Coon Prairie Cemetery following a luncheon at the church. Friends may call at the church from 9 A.M. till the time of service at 11.
