Charlotte Aspenson

Charlotte Aspenson, age 77 of Viroqua, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1928 at home in Utica, Wisconsin to Albert and Helen Wee. She graduated from high school and was married to Ishmael Aspenson. Charlotte was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Viroqua, the WELCA and Magdalene Circle. She volunteered at Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, and enjoyed flowers; especially geraniums and marigolds. She is survived by her son, Jon Aspenson of LaCrosse; three grandchildren: Joshua (Jennifer) Aspenson of LaCrosse, Jessica (Michael) Jordan of Green Isle, MN, and Kimberly Aspenson of Manitowoc; a daughter-in-law, Doreen Aspenson of Green Isle, MN; two brothers: Albert (Nancy) Wee of Towerville and Roger (Sylvia) Wee of Soldiers Grove; and sister-in-law, Stella Wee of West Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ishmael in 1981; her son, Mark Ishmael Aspenson in 1995; one sister, Shirley Lysne and her husband, Duane; and one brother, Gorman Wee. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Viroqua. Pastor James Steinbrecher will officiate with burial in the Utica Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 1 3 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 West Decker (Hwy 56), Viroqua. Friends may also call at the church on Monday after 10:00 a.m. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
