Cindy McGrath, 59, of Westby died Sunday, June 5, 2016. Cindy McGrath, 59, of Westby, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 5, 2016. She was born on February 3, 1957 to Raymond and Elaine (Poellinger) Stratman. She married Earl McGrath on June 7, 1980 in La Crosse WI. Together they had five children and later moved to Westby. They worked together for seven years at Traastads farm before Earl retired. Cindy then went on to work at Borgens Caf before retiring. Cindy enjoyed bowling, spending time with grandkids, camping, fishing, and later when her health tested her watching old westerns and other TV shows, word searches, and visiting with family and friends. Cindy was also a proud volunteer for the Westby Special Olympics. Cindy is survived by her children: Kevin (Leah) McGrath, Nicole McGrath, Linda (Brandon Schultz) McGrath, and Michelle (Kris) Kolbo; eight grandchildren: Rachael, Madison, Zachary, Conner, Violet, Nathan, Patrick, and Quinn; special friends: Amanda Kolbo, Carol Hall, and Roger Kolbo; brother, Tom Stratman; sister, Vickie (Bob) Bouffleur; and many nieces, nephews, and other close family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; daughter, Norma Jean McGrath; and sister, Debra Stratman. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby with burial to follow in the Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11am till the time of service at 1. A luncheon will follow at Borgens Caf in Westby.
