Cole Allen Egge

Cole Allen Egge, age 30, of Westby, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was born on August 15, 1994, to Eric and Lori (Mickelson) Egge in Viroqua. Cole attended Anamosa High School in Iowa. After high school, Cole was able to spend time with his dad working for Ricklefs Excavating before his family relocated back to Wisconsin.

Cole had a mechanical touch, having a talent for working on cars, but also building things. He had a knack for electronics with wires as he would be found working on anything from vehicles to computers, being able to take them apart and put them back together perfectly. Cole’s passion was fixing broken computers or any electronics. His family remembers many times when he was able to repair phone screens as easily as a professional technician. Cole had been able to spend a lot of time with his family as they competed in Bow League.

Cole’s generosity and taking care of others will be greatly missed. He was always the person to take care of someone else before himself.

Cole is survived by his dad, Eric (JoEllen) Egge; his mom, Lori Egge; brother, Logan; his grandmothers, Marie Egge and Doris Mickelson; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry Egge and Donnie Mickelson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Pastor Alyssa Weaver will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cole will be laid to rest at Coon Prairie Cemetery.
