Daniel Hanson, 75, of Viroqua died Sunday, November 22, 2009. Daniel "Danny" M. Hanson, 75, of Viroqua formerly of Westby, died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. Daniel was born November 23, 1933, in Viroqua to Gilbert and Julia Hanson. He enjoyed music and loved to visit with friends and family. For the past few years Daniel has lived at Old Times in Westby and the family would like to recognize the wonderful care he received while staying there. Daniel is survived by children: Scott (Mary) Hanson, Crystal Heal, Rex (Kathy) Hanson, Shari Hanson (Fritz), Boyd (Ann) Hanson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Gladys Fauske, Joe Hanson, Mary Ann Ellefson; and sister-in-law Frances Hanson. He is preceded in death by daughter Fayette; his parents; siblings Clara Volden, Alma Buxton, Milford Hanson, William Hanson, Bessie Evenson, Jacob Hanson; and ex-wife Carol.A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56), in Viroqua with Pastor Donald Greven officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
