Danny W. Adams, age 54 of Ferryville, died Monday, February 16, 2009 Danny W. Adams, age 54 of Ferryville, died early Monday morning, February 16, 2009 at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Chien. He was born on March 25, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Arlene (Robertson) Adams. He was raised in the Chicago area and on April 27, 1979 was united in marriage to Susan Wilberschied. Danny was a steel forger in Chicago prior to moving to this area where he was employed by Cummins Filtration (Nelson Muffler) until he was diagnosed with cancer. Danny loved music (Classic Rock), fishing, shooting pool and watching television. He especially loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by four children: Danny Adams, Jr. of Ferryville, Kari (Lester) Kaminski of Viroqua, Michael Adams and Becky Adams, both of Ferryville; three grandchildren: Daniel, Evan and Holly; one niece, Shannon Ramirez of Bloomington, Ill; and his best friend, Dean Spooner of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dennis and one sister, Deborah. Blessed be our memory of Danny Adams. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 320 Main (Hwy 82) in DeSoto. Pastor Bill Busch will officiate with burial in the Ferryville Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in DeSoto.
