Darla A. Hansen

WESTBY Darla A. Hansen, age 55 of Westby, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Darla was born on July 26, 1962 the daughter of Ronald and Janet (Scharping) Dunnum. She graduated from Westby High School and on July 18, 1981 married the love of her life, James C. Hansen at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. Darla was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and was the owner of Westby Kwik Stop. She is survived by her sons: Scott (Veronica) Hansen and Devin Hansen; one grandson, Connor; her mother, Janet Dunnum; five siblings: Bonnie (David) Egge, Arlan (Bethany) Dunnum, Carmen (Paula) Dunnum, Michele Larson and Ryan (Jamie) Dunnum; other relatives and many friends. Darla was preceded in death by her father, Ronald on November 5, 2005; her husband, Jim on October 22, 2013; and a brother in infancy, Arden. Blessed be our memory of Darla A. Hansen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. Pastor John Dumke will officiate with burial in the Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred.
