STODDARD David Leroy Orme, age 71, died at home on Wednesday March 30, 2016. STODDARD David Leroy Orme, age 71, died Wednesday March 30, 2016 at home at Pleasant Valley Senior-Assisted Living in Stoddard. David was born on April 13, 1944, in Ladysmith WI to Paul and Eleanora (Sorenson) Orme. He was a graduate of Royal High School in Elroy. David also served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He went on to get an associates degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He worked as a lineman for Lemonware Technologies, as a tank finisher at Walker Stainless, in the windows division for Kolbe & Kolbe millworks in Wausau and Finley Engineering in Eau Claire. He really enjoyed hunting but what he mostly liked to do was cooking. David is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer (Robert) Alexander, Stephanie (Frank) Raemisch, and Melissa Orme, 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Michael (Kara), Sara, Nicholas, Charles, and Matthew and 3 great-grandchildren, Lyla, Theodore and Molly. He is also survived by his siblings Mary Ellen Carlson, Philip (Lou Ann) Orme, Elaine Pulver, as well as cousins and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Larry Carlson. A Graveside Memorial Service with Military rites has been set for June 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Elroy City Cemetery in Elroy WI. In lieu of flowers and plants, the family asks that Memorials be directed to the charity of the donors choice in honor of David.
