Dean L. Smith, age 69 of Muscoda, died Sunday, April 7, 2013. Dean L. Smith, 69, of Muscoda died Sunday, April 7th, 2013 at Richland Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He enjoyed racing on Sundays and spending time with friends and family, building cars for the demolition derbies but most of all the grandkids. They were his pride and joy; he loved them so much and was proud to be their Grandpa. From every sports game to playing dolls to school lunch dates, he did it all and more. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none. Dean is survived by his five children: Kim (Steve) Baker of Boaz, Jason (Krystal) Cox of Lone Rock, Trisha (Dennis) Bunts of Woodman, David (Julie) Smith of Orangeville, IL., and Jim Smith of IL; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his father, Raymond Smith of Bell Center; and many friends and "Girlfriends". Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13th at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, corner of Hwy 131 and Sunset Ridge Ave, in Gays Mills. Burial will follow in the Bell Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Gays Mills is serving the family.
