Diane K. Foley

Diane K. Foley, age 64, of rural Yuba, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. She was born on March 18, 1960, to the late Ernest and Marjorie (Steinmetz) Fanta in Richland Center. On November 29, 1980, Diane married Francis Foley in La Farge. Diane stayed home and took care of her children and the neighborhood children, making sure they had a safe place to be.

She was a hard worker when it came to loading hay bales and working on the potato farm with her husband. Diane loved the outdoors, spending time gardening and swimming. She also enjoyed painting and cooking. While living in Yuba, Diane spent time working at the voting polls and bartending, where people learned of her hardworking, yet opinionated nature.

Diane’s real passion was spending time with her family. She particularly enjoyed quality time with close family and friends while cooking or grilling out. Diane also helped raise her grandchildren while her children were working.

Diane is survived by her husband, Francis; her sons: Joe, Tony, and Josh; grandchildren: Mick, Logan, Elizabeth, Carter, Skylar, and Dominic; her siblings: Rick Fanta, Sandra Franks, and Rodney (Lois) Fanta; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steven Fanta.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and Diane will be laid to rest at the Bear Creek Cemetery at a later time.
