Dolores Buchanan

Dolores Anne Buchanan, 84, of Westby, died Friday, November 4, 2016. Dolores was born on August 2nd 1932 to Melvin and Ruby Olson in Fairchild WI. She married James (Jim) Rex Buchanan on February 18th, 1955 in Woodstock, IL. She was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She made and sold many Amish dolls. She loved her Garden club, Book club, and Arts and Crafts fairs, reading, doing crosswords, and playing Bingo and Scrabble. Dolores is survived by one son: Michael James Buchanan; special friend, Sue Allen; Three grandchildren: Ashley Lium, Trent Anderson, and Trevor Anderson; two great grandchildren: Aubree Anderson and Jase Lium; four brother-in-laws: Alan, Bob, Tom, and Richard (Sally); sister-in-law, Lee Lewison; many Nieces, Nephews, and other family members. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Darcy; one brother; three sisters; two nieces; and two nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2pm till the time of service at 3:30.
