Dolores Crogan

Dolores Crogan, 85, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, August 20, 2015. Dolores Harriet Crogan (nee Rosinski) of Mt. Sterling, died peacefully in her sleep early in the morning of August 20, 2015 at the Bethel Home in Viroqua. She was born on October 14, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. In the many years that the Lord granted her, Dolores pursued a wide range of interests in work and hobbies. She organized many family camping trips all over the Midwest for her children, shot competitive bow and arrow, was a Cub Scout leader, a PTA leader, a school crossing guard, an office manager, enjoyed stock car racing, planted tobacco, knitted many beautiful sweaters, and owned a rural general store. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara (nee Przeslawski) Rosinski; her first husband, Wesley Nurczyk; and her second husband, Kenneth Crogan. Dolores is survived by her six children: Mark, Christopher (Leslie), Wesley, Roxanne (Donald Schneck), Bruce (Barbra), and Matthew (Dawn) Nurczyk; three step children: James (Judy), David, and Marsha (Ronald Ellefson) Crogan; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2015 at Vosseteig Funeral Home, Sunset Ridge Road, Gays Mills, WI at 1:00 pm. A service will be held at the funeral home at 3:00 pm, followed by interment at Pioneer Cemetery, Mt Sterling.
