Donald George Nettnin

Donald George Nettnin, age 86, of La Farge, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1934, in Chicago, IL. After retirement he and his wife, Faith Barbara Nettnin moved to La Farge in 1987, where he built his home on Jug Creek Road. Don was a man of great integrity and skilled craftsman in many arts. He loved the Lord and served in the church as a Deacon, Head Usher and Youth Leader. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed, fishing, swimming, softball and watching the old Westerns but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. Don is survived by his wife, Faith “Barbara” Nettnin; his children: Donald and wife Trudy (Powell) Nettnin, Janice (Nettnin) and husband Hal Prates, Gail (Nettnin) and husband Richard Cordero; ten grandchildren: David, Brian and Timothy Prates, Tony and Richard Cordero, Ashley Klein (Nettnin) and Dustin Nettnin, Michael, Alan and Jessica Nettnin; five great-grandchildren: Kaleb and Kevin Prates, Emily Prates, Jade Nettnin, and Ivy Klein and many nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death his five brothers; two sisters and his two youngest children, Michael and Barbie Nettnin. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Bear Creek Cemetery. He will be deeply loved and greatly missed by his family. However, they are assured and comforted to know that he is resting in the arms of Jesus. Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua is serving Don's family. 123 W.
