Donna Lee Hayden, age 75 of Westby, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 Donna Lee Hayden, age 75 of Westby, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 22, 1937 to Merwin and Doris (Roach) Robbins. Donna graduated from Viroqua High School and was united in marriage to Henry Hayden on February 1, 1960. Donna's greatest joy in life was being a stay at home mother to five children, a grandmother, great-grandmother and a babysitter to many children in the Westby area. Donna was a member of the Westby United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Henry; five children: Michael (Gaylyn) of Oxnard, California, Steven (Lori) of Westby, Frederick (Yong Cha) of Lacey,Washington, Heidi of Westby and Sarah (Matthew) of Madison; six grandchildren: Melissa and Matthew Hayden, April and Jennifer Hayden, Timothy Hayden and Henry Newcomb; four great-grandchildren: Aidan, Ashton, Gavin and Lila; her brother, Alan (Nancy) Henrikson; her sister, Sonja Faltynowicz; her brother-in-law, Richard (Bea) Hayden; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Henrikson; her father, Merwin Robbins; a granddaughter, Katherine "Katie" Hayden; and other relatives. Blessed be our memory of Donna Lee Hayden. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westby United Methodist Church. Pastor George Shick will officiate with burial in the Walnut Mound Cemetery at Retreat. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
