Donna Marie Antisdel (nee Friar), age 83 of Viroqua, died on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 in Vernon Memorial Hospital. Donna Marie Antisdel (nee Friar), age 83 of Viroqua, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 in Vernon Memorial Hospital (Hospice), after a short battle with cancer. Born July 15, 1930 to Thomas and Agnes (Dagnon) Friar of Woodman, WI. Donna was an elementary school teacher, retiring from the Cudhay, WI school system after nearly 30 years of service. She previously taught in South Milwaukee and Richland Center. Loving wife of Fredrick Antisdel and had just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in June of this year. Caring mother of James Antisdel and Joanne Jorgensen (Ronald Reinke) both of Oak Creek, WI. Grandmother of: Samuel James, Sarah Mae (James) and Jennifer Marie Jorgensen (Joanne). Also survived by nieces and nephews and especially her sister-in-law, Sarah Antisdel who assisted in Donnas care the last several weeks. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clement Friar Visitation is on Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. Marys Catholic Parish, 400 Congress Ave. Viroqua, starting at 9:30 a.m. with a Catholic Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Private Burial at Richland Center City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be made to Vernon Memorial Hospice or American Cancer Society. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
