Donna Rochelle Frihart

Donna Rochelle (Wemmer) Frihart, 83, of La Farge, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born on September 30, 1941, in Viroqua, to Robert and Gertrude (Hilton) Wemmer. Donna loved to watch western movies, puzzle books, search and finds, loved being with her family, and was a jokester. Later in life, she earned her GED in 2006 at Southwest Tech College in Fennimore. She enjoyed talking to anyone and enjoyed long conversations.

Survivors include her children, Fathom (Joshua) Hamilton of Readstown, WI, Christopher Frihart of Prairie du Chien, WI, Lester Hayden of Machesney Park, IL, Billee Jo Schmidt of Loves Park, IL, Lily (Clark) Hayden of Rockford, IL, and Robert (Connie) Hayden of Rockford, IL; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her siblings, Roger Wemmer of Ferryville, WI, Marcia (Wade) Yearous of rural La Farge, WI, and Gary Wemmer of Limestone, TN; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Wemmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Donna’s family are appreciated.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in La Farge. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
