Donna Rae Wilder, 71, of LaFarge, WI, passed away suddenly Sunday, June 1, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro, WI. She was born to Orval and Vera (Dixon) Campton on May 2, 1954. Donna was united in marriage to George Wilder in 2009.
She devoted most of her life to being a homemaker, raising her family with love and care. For about 10 years, she also worked on and off at Crooked River Crafts in La Farge and spent a short time working at a local daycare.
One of her great passions was shopping, with rummage sales capturing her heart and offering countless treasures for her to discover. Additionally, she was an exceptional cook, and her culinary skills brought joy to many family gatherings, as she loved nothing more than preparing delicious meals for those she loved.
Donna is survived by her husband George; children: Jody (Trevor) Campbell, Robin (Tim) Connelly, Jaime (Eldon) Daughenbaugh, Hailee (Jayden) Wilder, Hunter Wilder, Haiden Wilder and David Wilder; grandchildren: Cayla (Matt) Wong, Taylre, Caleb, Tannre, and Aaron Campbell, Chelsea (Zach) Schlicht, and Brenden (Corrissa) Connelly; great grandchildren: Liam, Stella, Holden, Colton, Grayson, Ryleigh, Georgie, Elise and Eleanor; siblings, Jack (Charlote), Mike, Casey, and Dixie Campton; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially her life-long best friend, Wanda Rush.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Logan; and her siblings Bob Dixon and Mae Farris.
Burial will take place at a later date in Bear Creek Cemetery. Vosseteig Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be offered at www.vossfh.com.
