Duane Myhre

Duane Myhre, age 62, of Westby, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born February 19, 1959, to Milton and Verna (Goede) Myhre in Viroqua. He attended and graduated from Westby High School in 1977. After graduating, Duane started his long career of truck driving feed for the Co-op that still remains even after many name changes. In 1996, he married Carla Newburg and they combined their families and raised one son together in Westby. Duane is survived by his wife, Carla; two sons, Nicholas (KiKi) Myhre and Nathan Myhre; his mother, Verna; his brother, Roger (Evelyn) Myhre; mother and father-in-law, Jerome and Eunice Newburg; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton and one brother, Dale. A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby.
