Dustin Brockman

June 24, 1985 — February 10, 2019

Dustin Brockman, 33, of Milladore, WI, died Sunday, February 10, 2019. Dustin Donald Brockman, age 33, passed away on Feb 10th, 2019 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse WI. Dustin was born at St. Joesph's Hospital in Hillsboro WI on June 24, 1985 to Natalie (Strait) and Brent Brockman. Dustin was a 2003 graduate of Cashton High School and also attended Rochester Technical College in Rochester MN. While Dustin had several jobs over the years, all which included hard physical work, Dustin's passion was playing Quarterback for the Semi-Pro team, The Rough Riders. From an early age on, his entire life revolved around his love for the game. There were only a few things more important to him besides football, his family, his friends and God. No one ever had the love in their heart as big as Dustin had for the love of his two nieces, Lila Mae, age 6 and Vanessa Rae, 9 months. Dustin loved hard. He loved everyone he met. He always found good in everyone and would give the shirt off his back to a perfect stranger. Dustin loved God so much that praying to The Lord was second nature. He loved to recite scriptures to his older niece and then would spend a good amount of time explaining it to her. Spreading God's words for comfort and compassion gave Dustin great joy. Dustin worked hard for good health. He loved to work out in the gym, eat healthy and keep a positive mind, however, Dustin struggled with a devastating disease, that being addiction. Even when Dustin fought his demons with addiction, his love and loyalty for his family, friends and God never diminished.
