Dustin Wang, age 33 of Westby, died Thursday, October 11, 2007. Dustin A. Wang, age 33 of Westby, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Gundersen-Lutheran following a massive stroke. He was born on January 6, 1974 in Viroqua and graduated from Viroqua High School in 1992. Dustin enjoyed lots of different music, fishing and sports; especially the Green Bay Packers. He was able to remember information about the players and their jersey numbers from many years ago. Dustin was a kind, generous person who was always willing to lend a hand. He is survived by his mother, Diane Wang (friend Kurt Mills) of Westby; father, LeRoy Wang of Viroqua; one brother, Chad (Sheila) Tracy of Camp Douglas; two nieces: Lauren and Jenna Tracy; his grandmother, Esther Bergh of Cashton; grandfather, LaVerne Wang of Winter, WI; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and will be sadly missed by his friend, Verlyn Sagmoen. Dustin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; paternal step-grandfather; one brother, Todd Harris and two uncles: Roger and Grant Hanson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Pastor Julie Wollman will officiate with burial in the Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Friends may also call on Wednesday at the church after 12:00 noon. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
