DuWayne "Duke" Lomen, age 69 of Westby, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 DuWayne "Duke" Lomen, age 69 of Westby, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 19, 1945 to Vernel and Helen (Mehlum) Lomen. He graduated from Westby High School and worked at Caterpillar in Aurora, Ill. When he moved back to Westby, he worked at the IGA in Westby and then Tri-State Breeders, retiring in 2010. He also owned and operated the Westby Dry Cleaners. Duke was married to Sandy Flug and they later divorced. He loved hunting and collected guns. He hosted "Duke Fest" for many years and was a friend to those he met. He is survived by his two sons: Danny (Maurya) Lomen of Mukwonago and Chad (Vicky) Lomen of Wauzeka; seven grandchildren: Hannah, Addy, Reese, Grace, Logan, Zach and Jordan; his brother, Harlan (Joanne) Lomen of Westby; other relatives and many friends.
