E. Lorraine Dahl, age 82 of Viroqua died Friday, September 7, 2007 E. Lorraine Dahl, age 82 of Viroqua died Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Bethel Home in Viroqua. She was born January 18, 1925 in Janesville, Wisconsin to Beauford and Ethel (Skrede) Inman. She married Levern W.C. Dahl on December 12, 1946 in Minnesota. They farmed and lived in the Viroqua area all their married life. In the late 60s they moved into Viroqua. Lorraine had worked at Viroqua Dairy Bar, Gambles and for Dr. Goss prior to cooking at the Bethel Home for over 20 years. Lorraine is survived by three children: David (Millie) Dahl of Madison; Janet (Boyd) Stevens of Oakhurst, CA; Bonnie Dahl of Viroqua; four grandchildren: Barb (Scott) Breneman of Madison; Mark Dahl of Madison; Tiffany (Pat) Lynch of Coarsegold, CA; Dawn Dee of Belmont, PA; great-grandchildren: Katie and Alex Breneman, Nathan, Samuel, and Emma Lynch, and Trevor Dahl. She is further survived by brothers and sisters: Richard (Donna Myer) Inman, June (Sigert) Larson, Robert (Doris) Inman, Marlene Nicoson, Bernita (Jack) Ridlon, Judi (Pete) Hansen and Jerry (Sue) Inman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on March 8, 1979; two grandsons: Rodney Nedland and Kurt Dahl; one great-grandson: Connor Lynch; one brother: Larry Inman; one infant sister: Beverly Inman; one son-in-law Eric Nedland. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church, rural Viroqua. Pastors Lori Kleppe and Steven Fossum will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. (Due to road construction, please use the parking lot entrance block South of Hwy 56.) The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
