Edward J. Palmer, born on January 28, 1963, in Illinois, passed away on July 18, 2024, in La Crosse, WI, he was a 1981 Schaumburg High School graduate. A dedicated father, Ed was known for his unique personality and passionate approach to life, particularly in the realm of fatherhood.


Ed is survived by his sons, Edward A. Palmer and Christopher Perez; Chris’ children Ashton, Spencer, and Braulio; his Mother, Joan Murrie; his siblings: Dennis (Liz) Palmer of Brandon, FL, Patrick (Penny) Palmer of La Farge, WI, Lisa Palmer (Mike Ciecierski) of Tomah, WI, Kristine Haase (John) of Genoa City, WI, and Laura Allen of Tomah, WI; his Aunt Karen (Keith) Brown; and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews. He also maintained a cherished friendship with his ex-wife, Ida, united in their care for their sons. Ed was preceded in death by his father, George Palmer; his Aunt Jean, who was the identical twin to his mother, Joan; brothers-in-law, Dayton Allen and Scott Haase; and his niece and nephew, Kelly and Jason.


An avid Cubs fan, Ed's enthusiasm for his team was matched by his pride in delivering exceptional customer service, a testament to his professional dedication.


A private service will be held Wednesday July 24th at Vosseteig Funeral Home in La Farge, WI, as they are assisting the family with arrangements.


In remembrance of Ed’s spirited life, his family requests that memories and condolences be shared in recognition of his enduring influence and cherished moments.
