Eilene Larson, 79, of Viroqua, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Eilene Mae (Graham) Larson, age 79, died Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Vernon Manor in Viroqua. Eilene was born in Viroqua to Roy and Eva Mae (Hornby) Graham on July 22, 1937. She married Donald Larson in Viroqua on June 21, 1958 and raised four kids. A working mother, she held numerous jobs in Viroqua to include working at Rubes A&W, Dunnums Caf, Clayton Shoes, JC Pennys, Ted & Freds Grocery Store, Kwik Trip, and H&R Block. Eilene loved to read, and enjoyed challenging crossword puzzles. Later in life she looked forward to, and cherished the visits from her great-grandchildren. Eilene is survived today by: her sons Mark (Sharon) of Macomb IL, Rick (Joni) and Alan (Lisa) both of Viroqua, and Kevin from Vero Beach FL, her five grandchildren Liane Larson, David and Breana Larson, Brandon (Bethany) Larson, and Jordan (Ryan) Jones, and her two great-granddaughters Aria and Emma. She is still survived by two sisters Margie Peterson and DeLee Anderson. She was preceded in death by: her husband Don, her parents, an infant son Shane and a sister Sally Robson. Per Eilenes wishes the funeral services and burial are Private. The family is continuing to make plans for a "Celebration of Life" at a later time and place that will be announced in the future. The family would like to thank the employees of Vernon Memorial Healthcare and Vernon Manor for all their care and compassion.
