Elaine Marie Jeske

Elaine Marie Jeske, age 84, formerly of St. Johns, AZ, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. She was born on November 14, 1921 in Bay City, Michigan, to Fredrick and Flora (Dora) Collier. Elaine had been a clerk at the St. Johns Drug Store in St. Johns, Arizona for many years. In March of this year, Elaine moved from St. Johns to Cashton to be closer to her son. She is survived by one son, Michael (Fayetta) Galus of Cashton; one daughter, Susie Nelson of Queen Creek, AZ; five grandchildren: Cindy (Mark) Connelly of Cashton, Kathy (Joe) Herring of Edgerton, WI, Cathy (Darrell) Neff of Glendale, AZ, Jimmy (Trina) Durazo of Austin, TX, and Michael Durazo of Chandler, AZ; 13 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Brunner of Mesa, AZ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by to sisters: Hazel Collier and Bertha Nappreralski. Private family services will be held. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the Bethel Home and Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua for the excellent care that Elaine received. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
