Elenor A. Gundlach, 90 of Viroqua passed away on Monday March 24, 2014 at 10:10 am. She was born on June 28, 1923 in Norwood Park, IL. She graduated in 1941 from Talk High School in Chicago. In 1946 she was married to William M. Gundlach. Elenor is survived by her 3 children Gary (Gabriel) Gundlach, Allyson J. (Gundlach) Codak and Steve L. Gundlach; grandchildren, Damion Gundlach, Eric W. Codak, Grant J. Codak, Seth, Dane, Mieres, Christopher J. Gundlach and Deyona Z. Gundlach; great-grandchildren, Trevor A. Codok and Elenor S. Codak. Elenor was a comforting spiritual guide to her family offering a mothering heart to everyone. She loved planting red and white petunias and especially loved red roses. She also enjoyed being a volunteer with the Senior Center of Viroqua and being active with the Sentimental Singers. She endlessly cared for others and appreciated all life. Through Christian Science and her healing of Polio, she inspired her family to a new spiritual understanding. Her open and loving heart lives on in all who knew her. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday March 28th 2014 from 1-3 pm and again on Sunday March 30th 2014 from 1-3 pm both at Elenors former home located at 356 West South St. in Viroqua. The Vosseteig Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
